• The East Texas Piney Woods Chapter serves more than 330,000 people – preparing and responding to emergencies, ensuring a safe blood supply, and providing life saving training.
• Last, year, we responded to an average of 1 house fire every 3 days providing emergency assistance in the form of food, clothing and shelter.
• This past year emergency communications were made on behalf of 263 local military families.
• In the last year, the East Texas Piney Woods Chapter has trained over 10 people a day in lifesaving skills such as first aid, CPR, babysitter’s training & lifeguarding.
